New version of RevMan

Review Manager (RevMan) is the software used to prepare and maintain Cochrane reviews. The next major revision of RevMan is currently being tested.

RevMan 5 will let you do more, while also being simpler to use. In addition to Intervention reviews, the new version includes the ability to write Diagnostic test accuracy reviews, Methodology reviews and Overviews of reviews. Its new interface is user-friendly and lets you work in a single document that is easily shared with co-authors and editors.

• Guidance will also be available in version 5 of the Cochrane Handbook of Systematic Reviews of Interventions www.cochrane.org/resources/handbook/index.htm

Getting involved as a Review Author: If you have expertise in some aspect of healthcare, consider joining the relevant Cochrane Review Group. If there is not yet a group which covers your specialty, register your interest in being part of a new group. Being part of a Cochrane review group provides the support, resources and training to tackle a systematic review, and an international audience when your work is published in The Cochrane Library.
